In the Modern Era we most closely resemble the Marketing and Hype Era. The game now has ads all over it promoting all things from insurance to groceries. The game is played a mixed sort of ways. Some teams play with lots of power trying to hits lots of home runs and doubles. Other teams play small ball, trying to scratch a few runs across the board and let their pitching do work. Now the players are receiving multi-million dollar contracts and no one thinks it is too much money. There has just been new rules implemented to where each manager has one challenge in the first six innings of the game. This is a good connection with technology in the game and it runs smoothly and allows the umpires to call the game more accurately with less errors. The stadiums are now amazing places for the fans to come and watch because now most fans don't want to go to the game when the can watch on their TV or on their computer's. They can holds thousands of people and the stadium prices are very expensive. The modern era is focused mainly around the money.
